Bari Grand Prix 2019

On International Women's Day, we like to remember Maria Teresa De Filippis (the first woman in the world to race in Formula 1, in 1948), Anna Maria Pedruzzi and Yvonne Simon, female drivers who linked their names to the Bari Grand Prix. The first post-war Formula 1 race, the event was held for nine editions, from 1947 to 1956, on a city circuit around the pavilions of the Fiera del Levante. In just over a month, from 26 to 28 April 2019, the 6th re-enactment of the historic event returns, with over fifty vintage cars ready to compete in an exciting regularity race along the city centre streets. This year's exciting new addition is the UNICEF Mini GP: children aged 4 to 9 will compete in a race with handcrafted pedal cars, to celebrate the values of sportsmanship and solidarity.
