In case of rain

When it rains, driving conditions become more difficult and potential hazards increase. But even before hitting the road, it's important to make sure your vehicle is in optimal condition. Not just the tires, which are of course fundamental and require constant checks to verify tread depth. Visibility is equally important: always keep your windshield, rear window, and side windows clean, even on the inside, and don't forget to fill the washer fluid reservoir with an appropriate detergent; avoid tap water, as limescale could clog the nozzles. Regularly check your windshield wipers, which should definitely be replaced if, when used in the rain, they leave streaks on the windshield or areas that are not perfectly clean. Check that the headlights and brake lights are working efficiently; in heavy rain, turn on your low beams, which can help you see the road better and, most importantly, make your vehicle more visible to other drivers. Do not use high beams, however, because their light reflects off the wall of water, worsening visibility. And don't forget: drive carefully!
